Dialogue and knowledge-sharing
As Credit Suisse continues to develop its sustainability risk management practices, we engage in dialogue with a range of stakeholders. This includes our ongoing exchange with NGOs and other actors in the conversation on sustainability risk management and climate change topics (), as well as our active participation in industry initiatives such as the Equator Principles, the Thun Group, and the Paris Agreement Capital Transition Assessment (PACTA) pilot project. We also served as a member of the multi-stakeholder advisory group established by the OECD, which aims to develop best practice guidance for human rights and environmental due diligence based on the provisions of the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises. The advisory group supported the development of the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Corporate Lending and Securities Underwriting published in October 2019. The OECD guidance provides recommendations for banks on how they can identify, respond to and publicly communicate on environmental and social risks associated with products and services provided to their clients or prospects.
